Later, in 1892 the Thomson-Houston Company and Edison General Electric Company merged and created the General Electric Company. It is headquartered in Niskayuna, New York. The company is engaged in electrical innovations. It is a leading global company in the industry. The company manufactures almost everything from aircraft engines, energy generation to our financial businesses to health care. General Electrics even operates its own television network and movie studios.
