Purchased GE Monogram refrigerator/freezer combo in 2007. (about 11k for the combo) Refrigerator grew mold within first year. GE denies. Repairmen took pics and called GE. They deny. Consumer rep. told me not to put lettuce in fridge (too much moisture). Are they serious?? Purchased a GE dishwasher a few months ago. Once installed the dish wash door leaked. They sent a service tech over 6 times before this problem was fixed. A span of about a month and a half. A month or so ago my wife went to turn the dishwasher on and nothing happened. Place a call and the sent a tech over again who told us it was the PCB that must of shorted out. The GE French door Slate refrigerator is worse than bad. We bought one at Lowes in Nov 2013. The paint immediately started coming off. The customer service told me o shouldn't use harsh products or things that would scratch. Yeah like I do that to all my appliances. Liwes did replace the appliance after several discussions. Made appt on line for tech to check dryer vent and clean it out. Tech came and told me vent needed cleaned but stated GE didn't do this work. It involves a ladder climb to the vent. Then just remove vent. Tried to charge me $150 for nothing! Never touched the dryer just toke ME to remove the vent. I stated to him he did nothing and I felt ripped off. I have a GE wash that is 6 mo old. The agitator eats my cloths. I have called GE too many times to count and they have replaced my agitator 7 times and the washer is still eating my cloths. I have been told by GE that I am not loading my machine correctly. I have read the user manual and am using my machine correctly. WE BOUGHT THE OVEN FOUR YEARS AGO FROM LOWES. THE TEMP STARTED MESSING UP, PAID 200.00 TO GET IT FIXED NOW IS 25 DEGREES OFF. I bought a GE Cafe range last July. Have had hot knobs on oven the entire time. GE repairman has been here twice and said there was nothing wrong. Maybe it is something I am doing. Suggested dish towels hanging from oven handles. I have burned myself several time. Repairman was here yesterday and he put on both ovens. Knob area did not heat up until after he left. I have a GE profile gas range (5 years old) and the knobs have melted twice The rear control panel has melted 3 times when operating the self cleaning function GE customer I use the word loosely SERVICE informs me there is nothing more they can do, and will sell me a new stove at a discount. Several years ago we remodeled our kitchen. Our designer recommended GE Profile appliances which we purchased at Friedman's Pleasant Hill Ca. The dish washer was delivered with a hole in the side.
