I purchased a GE electric stove in April of 2018. It is the worst appliance I have ever owned. The burners are only programmed to work on high. There is no such thing as simmer or slow cook with this stove. The heating element for the oven is placed right under the burners and is so dangerous from the intense heat when the oven is on. It is the least user friendly product I have ever owned and I am very sorry I purchased it.

I purchased $13,000 of GE appliances from the GE Store in Feb 2019 to replace those that were damaged during Hurricane Florence. They would not delay my delivery beyond March 31st even though we told them we would not be able to be back in our house until July. When they delivered them the appliances were placed in the garage. We were told to call back when the house was ready for them to be installed. Now they tell me that installation is outside some 30 day time window. We were willing to pay for the install. Don't tell me that GE CARES - they don't. Disappointed in the company. Will not buy from GE Store again. A local vendor would have been more supportive.

General Electric in Manhattan, New York - Whats up with GE?

I bought all new GE appliances 1 1/2 to 2 years ago: a refrigerator, an electric oven/gas stove, a dishwasher and a dehumidifer. I have had trouble with all 4 appliances. The dishwasher was the worst because I had to have repairmen come out 4 times. The last time I had given up on the dishwasher finally being repaired so I bought the extended warranty. It is working now but I ended up spending several hundred dollars between the numerous repairs and the warranty. Regretting now that I didn't just buy a new one. The dehumidifier worked great for a couple of months, looks brand new but stopped working a week after its warranty ran out. Don't expect any help. Just want to vent.

I did call them several times and said this..only ended up they gave me the power board at no charge and expect me to pay $169 for repairs and I absolutely refuse..they keep claiming my air conditioner is out of warranty going soon into second season in July.. but I do not agree how they do dating..yes in a warm climate but not in CT..where I only have used appliance in summer months.. General Electric in Copperas Cove, Texas - My glass top cracked as I was boiling water. Its not even 2 yrs old.

It just happened but I do plan on contacting them also spreading the word not to purchase glass top ranges.

We bought a GE Monogram Refrigerator Model ZFGP2HZBSS several years back along with the Stove, Dishwasher and Microwave Convection oven. Washing Machine and Dryer. I thought we were purchasing top of the line products but we were fooled. We had problems with every appliance purchased, and I mean every. The fridge more than I can remember. I wish there was a lemon law on appliances. I have lost so much money in food, product repair, time and patience. All I can say to sum this up so I can transfer my food to a Sears fridge in my basement, is that I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Customer Service stinks

My 4 year old ge washer is junk. After 2 1/2 yrs. I had to replace the main circuit board. 1 1/2 yrs. later,more problems. After replacing 3 main items on the washer,my code said replace motor. I'm not doing that,nor should I have to on a 4 yr. old washer. You think a co. like ge could,and I'm sure they could but won't,make a better product. So as with my cars and other products in my home I am going to buy a product from another country because they make things to last.
